Ray Roberts Lake State Park is located in northern Texas, and contains Ray Roberts Lake, a 30,000 acre reservoir, as well as the Ray Roberts Lake/Lake Lewisville Greenbelt Corridor, a 20-mile trail system used by outdoor enthusiasts for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Activities in the Park also include camping, backpacking, bird watching, swimming, fishing, and boating. Anglers land largemouth bass, Crappie, white bass, and catfish. There is a large full-service marina in the Sanger Unit of the Park and dining and overnight accommodations at Lantana Lodge in the Jordan Unit of the park.

Fort Worth, Dallas, Plano, and Arlington are all within an hour and a half drive of the Park making this a favorite equestrian and water playground. Situated along the shores of a 30,000-acre reservoir Ray Roberts Lake State Park Complex consists of two state park units, six satellite parks, designated Wildlife Management Areas, wetlands and waterfowl sanctuaries. Visitors also enjoy stops at nearby Eisenhower State Park and Eisenhower Birthplace State Historic Site.
