The Trail for Tomorrow - begins at the Environmental Center and meanders 1/2 mile through the Ponderosa Pine Forest. Enjoy the fresh air and sunshine as you learn about the Colorado Plateau's history, vegetation and it's forest inhabitants. Promoting responsible stewardship of America's natural places, the Leave No Trace principles are introduced and examined along this self-guided interpretive trail.

Golf: Golf isn't just a past time here. It's an art form. Flagstaff boasts several scenic view courses featuring the San Francisco Peaks as backdrop. Two golf courses are within a 30-mile radius of the Lodge:
Continental Country Club: With views of Mount Elden in the distance play narrow ponderosa-pine-lined fairways, open meadows, lush fairways, and fast greens. Open to the public, groups welcome. Pro-shop, driving range, and PGA professionals are available for lessons.

Flagstaff Ranch Golf Club: Designed by U.S. Open Champion Jerry Pate, this 6,931 yard championship course is a par 71 course that winds gracefully through the community, providing dramatic elevation changes and equally dramatic views. With four sets of tee boxes, the course provides challenge and excitement for players of all abilities.
