Mad River Boat Trips in Jackson Hole offers white-water rafting trips and varied scenic float trips on the Snake River—or combination tours, which include both! Mad River Boat Trips is located in an acclaimed Will Bruder-designed building, locally known as "The Wedge"—located just 2 miles south of Jackson's Town Square off South Highway 89. All river guides undergo rigorous training and hold required CPR and First Aid certifications.

At The Wedge rafters, if necessary or desired, can rent wetsuits, wetsuit jackets, booties, and/or gloves in a wide range of sizes. Comfortable dressing rooms are available too. Visitors also browse the unique Jackson River Runner's Museum which documents the story of America's river pioneers including their boats, hardships, adventures and encounters. View artifacts, photos, videos, actual rafts and replicas of boats from early days of river exploration and sport.

Various float-trip packages are available, including lunch and dinner stops. The Wyoming BBQ Steak or Trout Cookout trips are prepared and served at Mad River's own riverside picnic area, overlooking the two largest rapids on the river. Additionally, box lunches are provided on some excursions. Customized charter trips are available for small and large groups.
