Moccasin Point Marina is one of two marinas located on Don Pedro Lake in Stanislaus National Forest. Don Pedro Lake, 2 hours east of San Francisco and 60 miles west of Yosemite National Park, is a man-made reservoir and recreational lake for boaters, campers, and outdoorsmen. On Don Pedro Lake, fishing, swimming, camping and water sports are popular. Anglers catch trout, bluegill, salmon, crappie, bass, and catfish. The area's rolling hills offer many opportunities for hiking and wildlife exploration. The full-service Marina has ample parking, varied boat and watercraft rentals, services, groceries and a snack bar featuring quick meals. Sister marina, Lake Don Pedro Marina, is less than one-half-hour drive north.
